Contingent underpromise but set to overdeliver in Hangzhou


AS the Malaysian contingent prepare to embark on the Asian Games adventure in Hangzhou beginning on Saturday, chef de mission Datuk Chong Kim Fatt has been kept busy on all fronts.

The visit on athletes and coaches on their last lap of preparation is customary for the head of the contingent, accompanied by his two deputies – in this case, Malaysian Boxing Federation (MBF) president, Datuk Mohd Iruan Zulkefli and rhythmic gymnast-turned-plastic surgeon, Associate Prof Dr Farrah Hani Imran.
