Spain’s beautiful game survives Argentina’s ugly antics

As Rodri lifted the World Cup trophy into the bright New Jersey sky, he beamed with the pride of a deserving champion. He and his Spanish teammates came to play football and they showed that they are the best in the world at it.

It may be a little studied, almost academic at times, but there’s no doubt that Spain have crafted their own version of the beautiful game.
