Be cautious when fixing subsidies


EVERYONE expected Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to announce the much-anticipated fuel subsidy rationalisation when news broke about the special address last Tuesday.

But, as it turned out, the announcement only involved diesel drivers. This left most RON95 users, who make up the majority of motorists, anxiously waiting for the news that will surely impact the monthly spending of many.
