Kota Belud cops hunting for escaped detainee


KOTA KINABALU: Police are hunting for a Filipino detainee who escaped from an enforcement agency’s truck while on the way to the Kepayan Prison.

Kota Belud OCPD Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said the detainee, named Man, was on his way from Kudat on the Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) truck prior to Wednesday’s 2.15pm escape.
