WANITA MCA lauds the wisdom of the Court of Appeal judges’ decision on the government’s bid to stay the High Court ruling on bestowing citizenship on children born overseas to Malaysian mothers.

In a unanimous decision, the Court of Appeal judges succinctly described that this case “involves the rights of children and these rights have been recognised by the High Court” when it dismissed the government’s application to stay or temporarily suspend issuing citizenship-related documents to such children.
