2 college students found dead after going missing on hike in U.S. Colorado

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Two college students were found dead Wednesday, days after going missing on a hike in Chaffee County in the U.S. state of Colorado, authorities have said.

Kaden Matsuda, 19, and Jackson Donlon, 20, were located deceased near each other on Wednesday afternoon in a basin of West Apostle Mountain, the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office has said. Foul play is not suspected, it said.

The two young men were both students at Colorado Mountain College's Leadville campus, located about 100 miles (around 160 km) west of the state's capital of Denver.

According to the office, staff of the Leadville campus on Monday reported the two students had not returned after they left the campus on Oct. 23 to hike in Chaffee County.
