Category 3 Hurricane Isaias makes landfall near Destin, Florida, NHC says

Oct ⁠9 (Reuters) - Category ⁠3 HurricaneIsaias ‌made landfall near Destin, Florida, the ​US National ⁠Hurricane ⁠Center said in ⁠its latest ‌advisory ⁠on Friday.

The hurricane, ​packing ‌maximum sustained winds ⁠of ​105 mph (165 kph), ⁠is about ​50 miles (80 km) west-northwest of ⁠Panama City, Florida, the center said.
