BAKU, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- The sixth Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, or ADEX 2026, concluded Friday in the Azerbaijani capital Baku after a three-day run, drawing a record number of participating companies.
According to the organizers, more than 270 companies and organizations participated in ADEX 2026. Fourteen countries, including China, were represented with national pavilions.
In a written address, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said ADEX had become one of the region's most authoritative and beneficial defense industry platforms, adding that the participation of numerous countries and leading international companies reflects the relevance and international prestige of the event.
Agreements and cooperation documents were signed during the event, covering areas including personnel training, research and technology, strategic cooperation and logistics support, according to Azerbaijan's defense ministry.
First held in 2014, ADEX is a biennial defense exhibition.
