Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery dropped 1.19 U.S. dollars, or 1.24 percent, to settle at 94.59 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery decreased by 1.09 dollars, or 1.09 percent, to settle at 99.25 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
