Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery went up 89 cents, or 1.05 percent, to settle at 85.83 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery gained 60 cents, or 0.66 percent, to settle at 91.62 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
