MOSCOW, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Russia's budget-system tax revenues reached 31 trillion rubles (about 388 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2026, up 8 percent year on year, Russian Federal Taxation Service Head Daniil Yegorov said Wednesday.
Yegorov made the remarks during a working meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, stressing that the tax take surpassed the figure for the same period in 2025 by 2.4 trillion rubles.
Both federal and regional budgets posted solid tax-revenue growth over the six-month period. Revenues for regional budgets climbed 8 percent year on year. Tax receipts for the federal budget rose 6 percent, adding 765 billion rubles to federal coffers, he noted.
Non-resource-based revenues accounted for 90 percent of total budget proceeds, registering a 25 percent increase.
Mishustin highlighted the critical role played by the Federal Taxation Service, saying steady tax inflows underpin the full fulfilment of the government's social commitments and fund programs covering economic development, industry, healthcare and social-sector projects nationwide.
