Urgent: U.S. forces begin new wave of strikes against Iran for 5th consecutive night: Central Command


WASHINGTON, July 16 (Xinhua) -- U.S. forces began conducting a new wave of strikes against Iran for the fifth consecutive night at 2 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (1800 GMT) Thursday, according to the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).

The strikes aim "to further degrade Iranian military capabilities," USCENTCOM said in a post on X.
