Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery increased by 26 cents, or 0.33 percent, to settle at 79.60 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery went up 22 cents, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 84.95 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
