JERUSALEM, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Israel's largest pharmacy chain Super-Pharm on Tuesday launched online sales of the electric car brand Aion, manufactured by China's Guangzhou Automobile Group.

In a joint statement, the chain and local importer Orion Mobility described the initiative as an innovative e-commerce sales model for Israeli car buyers.

The two models currently offered at the pharmacy chain's website are the Aion V compact SUV and the HT Pure mid-size coupe.

The Aion V comes with a 75.3 kWh battery, a range of up to 510 km, a top speed of 160 km/h. The HT Pure features a 68.8 kWh battery, a range of 430 km, and a top speed of 183 km/h.

Aion entered the Israeli market in September 2025.

Guangzhou Automobile Group ranked seventh in Israel's electric car sales for the first half of 2026, trailing five other Chinese car manufacturers and Tesla, according to the Israel Vehicle Importers Association.
