MOSCOW, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and 13 others were injured in drone strikes in the Donetsk region on Monday, regional leader Denis Pushilin said in a post published on the Russian social media platform Max, blaming the attacks on Ukrainian forces.
"Men born in 1972, 1987 and 1991 died in the Starobeshevsky municipal district. I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims," he wrote.
Pushilin noted the strikes also damaged a residential building, five civilian infrastructure facilities, a bus, several trucks and passenger vehicles across multiple municipal districts.
