CARACAS, June 26 (Xinhua) -- The death toll from the powerful twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela

Wednesday has risen to 920, Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez said on Friday.

Meanwhile, about 50,000 people remain missing, as a website established to receive reports of people still unaccounted for had over 50,000 submissions as of midday on Friday.
