57th Algiers Int'l Fair highlights Algeria's economic momentum


ALGIERS, June 23 (Xinhua) -- The 57th Algiers International Fair, being held at the Palais des Expositions in Algiers, drew a record number of domestic and international exhibitors, spotlighting Algeria's growing economic dynamism.

Launched Monday, this year's edition brings together 781 exhibitors, including 579 domestic companies highlighting local industrial and technological progress, alongside 202 international participants from 36 countries spanning Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Spain is this year's guest of honor, reflecting deepening bilateral ties and unlocking fresh partnership opportunities across strategic sectors including manufacturing, agribusiness, and heavy industry.

Among international participants, China stands out as a key economic partner, with multiple enterprises exhibiting advances in manufacturing, infrastructure, and heavy industry aligned with the fair's core themes.

Running through Saturday, the fair also features high-level panels on the African Continental Free Trade Area, Algeria's investment climate, and emerging opportunities in mining and artificial intelligence.
