Stepson of Norway's crown prince convicted of rape, sentenced to 4 years

OSLO, June ⁠15 (Reuters) - The ⁠stepson of Norway's Crown ‌Prince Haakon has been found guilty of ​two counts of ⁠rape and ⁠other crimes and is ⁠sentenced to ‌four years in ⁠prison, an Oslo court ​ruled ‌on Monday.

Marius Borg Hoiby, ⁠29, ​who joined the royal family ⁠when his mother Mette-Marit ​married Haakon in 2001, has pleaded not ⁠guilty to the most severe accusations against him, including ​those of ⁠rape, and can ​appeal the ‌verdict.
