Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery gained 4.8 U.S. dollars, or 5.49 percent, to settle at 92.16 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery went up 3.86 dollars, or 4.24 percent, to settle at 94.98 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
