Congo says number of confirmed Ebola cases rises to 282

KINSHASA, ⁠May 31 (Reuters) - Democratic ⁠Republic of Congo ‌said on Sunday that the number of ​confirmed Ebola ⁠cases had ⁠increased to 282 after ⁠19 ‌new positive test ⁠results were recorded.

There have ​been ‌264 confirmed cases ⁠in ​Ituri province, 15 in North ⁠Kivu province and ​three in South Kivu province, according ⁠to data distributed by the communications ministry.

The confirmed cases ​include ⁠42 deaths, the ​ministry said.
