WTI crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for June delivery dropped to 4.15 dollars, or 3.9 percent, to settle at 102.27 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery lost 4.57 dollars, or 3.99 percent, to settle at 109.87 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
