TBILISI, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Georgia's air travel continued its rapid growth recorded last year, posting an 8.7 percent increase in total flights and 32.3 percent rise in air cargo transport in the first quarter of 2026.
Airports in the country handled more than 1.6 million passengers during the first three months, a 4.3 percent rise from a year earlier, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Tamar Ioseliani said Monday.
