Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices settled higher on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery gained 5.76 dollars, or 6.87 percent, to settle at 89.61 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery went up 5.1 dollars, or 5.64 percent, to settle at 95.48 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
