Hungary election winner Magyar hopes to take oath of office on May 9 or 10

BUDAPEST, ⁠April 17 (Reuters) - ⁠Hungarian election winner ‌Peter Magyar said on Friday he ​hoped to ⁠take the ⁠oath of office as ⁠prime ‌minister ⁠on May 9 or ​10 ‌depending on a ⁠presidential ​decision on the inaugural ⁠session of parliament.

Magyar ​said he would break with past ⁠practice and take the oath of ​office ⁠on the same ​day when ‌parliament is ​convened.
