Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery added 2.51 dollars, or 2.6 percent, to settle at 99.08 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery increased by 4.16 dollars, or 4.37 percent, to settle at 99.36 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
