Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices dived on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery decreased by 18.54 U.S. dollars, or 16.41 percent, to settle at 94.41 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery dropped 14.52 dollars, or 13.29 percent, to settle at 94.75 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
