Russian Su‑30 fighter crashes on training flight in Crimea, TASS reports


MOSCOW, April ⁠3 (Reuters) - A ⁠Russian Su‑30 fighter jet ‌crashed in Crimea on Friday during a scheduled ​training flight, with ⁠both crew ⁠members ejecting safely, the ⁠TASS ‌state news agency ⁠reported citing Russia's defence ministry.

The ​aircraft ‌was flying without weapons ⁠when ​it came down, the ministry said, ⁠adding that a ​ground search-and-rescue team evacuated the pilots and ⁠that their lives were not in danger.

The cause of the ​crash ⁠was not immediately clear.
