Rotterdam synagogue blast had terrorist intent, prosecutors say


AMSTERDAM, ⁠March 16 (Reuters) - Dutch ⁠prosecutors on Monday ‌said the four men suspected of ​causing an explosion ⁠at a ⁠synagogue in Rotterdam ⁠on Friday ‌had acted ⁠with terrorist intent.

"The acts ​were ‌meant to instill ⁠fear ​in the Jewish community," the ⁠prosecutors said.

The four, ​aged 17 to 19, were apprehended ⁠shortly after an arson attack caused a fire ​at ⁠the synagogue early ​on Friday.
