Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for April delivery dropped 5.21 U.S. dollars, or 5.28 percent, to settle at 93.50 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery lost 2.93 dollars, or 2.84 percent, to settle at 100.21 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
