Thai parliament to vote on new PM on Thursday, house speaker says

BANGKOK, ⁠March 16 (Reuters) - Thailand's ⁠parliament will hold ‌a sessionon March 19 to vote on ​a new prime ⁠minister, House ⁠Speaker Sophon Zaram ⁠said on ‌Monday, following ⁠last month's general election.

Caretaker ​Prime ‌Minister Anutin Charnvirakul ⁠is ​seeking to be voted back ⁠to office by ​the new parliament after his Bhumjaithai ⁠Party won a clear victory in the February ​8 ⁠election.
