Airspace over BiH remains safe, fully operational: air navigation authority

SARAJEVO, March 3 (Xinhua) -- The Air Navigation Services Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHANSA) said on Tuesday that the country's airspace remains safe and fully operational despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

The statement came after the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) extended the validity of its Conflict Zone Information Bulletin covering Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Kuwait, and following coordination through the EUROCONTROL network mechanism. According to BHANSA, the operational situation has stabilized, although geopolitical sensitivities persist.
