Vessel struck by unknown projectile northwest of UAE's Mina Saqr, maritime security agency reports


CAIRO, ⁠March 1 (Reuters) - A ⁠vessel has been ‌struck by an unknown projectile 17 ​nautical miles northwest ⁠of the ⁠United Arab Emirates' ⁠Mina Saqr ‌in the ⁠emirate of Ras Al ​Khaimah, ‌the United Kingdom ⁠Maritime ​Trade Operations agency said on ⁠Sunday.

The projectile caused ​fire that has been extinguished and ⁠the vessel indents to continue on its voyage, ​UKMTO ⁠added.
