Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery decreased by 56 cents, or 0.89 percent, to settle at 62.33 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery dropped 1.23 dollars, or 1.79 percent, to settle at 67.42 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
