LIVIGNO, Italy, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- The women's freeski big air final at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Winter Games on Monday was delayed due to adverse weather conditions at the Livigno venue.

Snow was falling and strong winds were sweeping across the competition site, raising safety concerns for athletes.

The latest announcement said the competition will not start before 21:00 local time.
