Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for March delivery increased by 1.76 dollars, or 2.9 percent, to settle at 62.39 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery gained 1.98 dollars, or 3.02 percent, to settle at 67.57 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
