TRIPOLI, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Libyan Interior Ministry said on Thursday that the Turkish chief public prosecutor and a Libyan committee investigating the crash of a plane carrying Libyan military officials have agreed to send the aircraft's black box to Germany for technical analysis.

In a statement, the ministry said the Turkish chief public prosecutor affirmed his readiness to provide Libyan authorities with all documents and surveillance camera recordings related to the incident, as part of information-sharing and coordination between the two sides.

The statement added that the Turkish chief public prosecutor also expressed his willingness to send an official correspondence to his Libyan counterpart detailing the procedures taken and the approvals related to the joint investigations into the crash.

According to the ministry, Turkish authorities have been provided with the results of DNA analyses conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department in Tripoli on samples from some of the victims' families, in order to complete legal procedures and ensure accurate identification of the victims.

The private jet carrying senior Libyan military officials reported a technical malfunction and requested an emergency landing shortly before crashing south of Ankara in Türkiye, a Turkish official said on Wednesday.

Libya's army chief of staff Mohammed al-Haddad, along with four other military officials and three crew members, was killed in the crash, authorities have confirmed.
