Pakistan committed to empowering youth, creating transformative opportunities


ISLAMABAD, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chairman of the Pakistani Prime Minister's Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said that the country is committed to empowering youth and creating transformative opportunities through inclusive policies, skills development and global engagement.

Empowering young people is central to the country's development strategy and the government's top priority, said the official while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the International MOIC Summit Pakistan 2025 on Monday.

He said that the youth are Pakistan's most valuable national asset and the key drivers of future progress, adding that targeted investments in education, innovation, and employment are vital to prepare the country's youth for global competition.

Highlighting Pakistan's measures to ensure comprehensive youth empowerment at all levels, Khan said that several programs including scholarships, skills development, entrepreneurship support and employment facilitation have been launched to transform youth into productive contributors to the nation's growth and innovation.

All the initiatives are merit-based, transparent and ensure equal opportunities for every young citizen, unlocking the full potential of Pakistani youth, he added.
