Russia's housing construction down 2.4 pct in first 11 months of 2025


MOSCOW, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Russia's housing construction fell by 2.4 percent year on year in the first 11 months of 2025 to 91.5 million square meters, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said Tuesday.

In November, housing construction in Russia increased by 27.1 percent year on year to 7.98 million square meters, Rosstat said.

From January to November 2025, housing commissioned for use totaled 59.4 million square meters, down nearly 2 percent compared with the same period last year, it added.
