Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for January delivery increased by 21 cents, or 0.36 percent, to settle at 58.46 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for February delivery gained 27 cents, or 0.44 percent, to settle at 62.21 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
