BiH, Türkiye sign trade convention to boost economic cooperation

SARAJEVO, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Senior officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Türkiye signed on Thursday a trade convention aimed at facilitating the movement of goods.

The two sides inked the Decision on Amendments to the Regional Convention on Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Preferential Rules of Origin (PEM Convention), which introduces simplified and flexible rules for the movement of goods among contracting parties.

The PEM Convention, established in 2012, harmonizes rules of origin and cumulation mechanisms among EU, EFTA, and Mediterranean countries, including Bosnia, Türkiye, Serbia, and others.
