Inaugural China-Ghana Climate Summit held in Accra to boost green cooperation

ACCRA, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- The inaugural China-Ghana Climate Summit was held in the Ghanaian capital of Accra on Tuesday, aiming to boost bilateral climate cooperation and focusing on green finance, renewable energy, and sustainable development between China and Africa.

Speaking at the summit, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Tong Defa said China has been an active participant in global efforts on emission reduction and continues to pursue South-South cooperation on climate response.
