U.S. dollar ticks up


NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar climbed in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, added 0.02 percent to 97.549 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
