11th International United Cultures Forum kicks off in St. Petersburg


ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- The 11th International United Cultures Forum kicked off in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on Thursday, drawing delegates from more than 60 countries.

Held under the theme "Return to Culture -- New Opportunities," the three-day forum will feature more than 40 events, including lectures, panel discussions, roundtables and thematic sessions. Topics will cover theater, museums and artificial intelligence, among others.

A highlight of the forum's cultural program is the Chinese Culture Festival, which will present the kung fu dance drama "Eleven Warriors."

Established in 2012, the forum is jointly organized by the Russian government, the country's Ministry of Culture and the St. Petersburg city administration, with the aim of preserving and developing Russian culture while promoting international cultural exchange and cooperation.
