Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery went up 37 cents, or 0.59 percent, to settle at 62.63 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery added 37 cents, or 0.56 percent, to settle at 66.39 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
