Gunman at large after shooting kills 1, injures 5 in U.S. Texas


HOUSTON, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- A gunman remains at large after opening fire outside a bar early Sunday morning in Liberty County, the U.S. state of Texas, leaving one person killed and five others injured, authorities said.

The Liberty County Sheriff's Office said the man arrived at the bar around midnight, ordered a drink and stayed at the bar for an hour before going to his van and opening fire.

The suspect is thought to have acted alone and fled the scene in the vehicle, according to a report from ABC News.

Police are searching for the suspect while an investigation is underway.
