Wildfire threatens homes in southern BiH

SARAJEVO, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- A wildfire that broke out Wednesday evening in Neum, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), continued to spread on Thursday, threatening residential houses and olive groves, local authorities said.

Fanned by strong winds, the blaze advanced toward nearby villages, with the situation particularly severe in Hutovo, where flames were approaching family homes, according to the Neum Municipal Civil Protection Service.
