Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery decreased 1.04 U.S. dollars, or 1.54 percent, to settle at 66.29 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery dropped 91 cents, or 1.31 percent, to settle at 68.76 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
