Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for August delivery gained 5 cents, or 0.07 percent, to settle at 68.38 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery went up 4 cents, or 0.06 percent, to settle at 70.19 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
