Panama extends suspension of constitutional guarantees in Bocas del Toro by five days

PANAMA CITY (Reuters) -Panama's government has extended by five days the suspension of constitutional guarantees in the western province of Bocas del Toro, Presidency Minister Juan Carlos Orillac said on Tuesday.

The suspension, which was originally set to end on Wednesday, was extended due to situations that still require the presence of the authorities, Orillac said at a press conference.
