Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched down on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery dropped 21 cents, or 0.28 percent, to settle at 74.93 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery lost 1.84 dollars, or 2.33 percent, to settle at 77.01 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
